Great finisher, also just a good proactive minion to play in order to remove a 4 Health minion and leaving a giant threat behind, however it's not mandatory. Scaleworm is a good replacement if you wish for some more single target removal.
HEARTHSTONE NO YASHARAJ SPELLHUNTER FULL
I Like it because it's a proactive play, also your hand will often be very full and silence at the moment is a rare sight, however it's not at all essential. Good card against Spellhunter and Aggro, but not essential. War Master Voone will copy your Ysera and Crowd Roasters against control and Emberscale Drake against Aggro, even if you copy only one card it's already great value, but you'll copy 2-3 most of the time! Smolderthorn Lancer replaces Execute, as paying 1 more Mana in order to get a 3/2 is a great deal.

The dragon package was reborn thanks to the Rastakhan expansion, and oh boy is it incredible in Warrior! Firetree Witchdoctor is a godsent for Control Warrior, finally a way to flexibly get exactly the removal you need, so often I've been mad at not drawing Brawl in time, but the Witchdoctor is usually able to give you some form of AoE (which there is plentyful in Warrior) to deal with the board, or give you single target removal for a big target, or some value generation like Omega Assembly or Heavy Metal, you name it, many of the Warrior spells are useful and having an option to gain flexible access now, is awesome.

Firetree Witchdoctor, Smolderthorn Lancer, War Master Voone, Emberscale Drake, Crowd Roaster, Primordial Drake, Ysera: Boom ofcourse offers ongoing value for the rest of the game, including the possibility of generating even more Mechs which you can use to keep magnetizing and eventually outvalue your opponent. Boom synergize extremely well, giving all Mechs rush makes pretty much all Mechs good, meaning you will generate insane value with Omega Assembly, while Dr. Dyn-o-matic and Zilliax are already great by themselves. The mech package is extremely important in modern control Warrior. Omega Assembly, Dyn-o-matic, Zilliax, Dr. I don't have to tell you guys how good Primordial Drake is, and having access to War Master Voone and Grommash Hellscream increases the odds of winning against other Control decks, and even Combo decks, dramaticly. Warpath is one of the strongest cards to play against decks which rely on relatively low health Minions, such as Spellhunter and ofcourse Aggro. If you chose to not run Odd, you gain access to some cards which are exceptional in the current Meta, especially against Spellhunter. Ofcourse you could also run the Odd version and I'm sure it would almost work as well, but just almost. Why not just run the Baku version as almost all of the used Dragons are Odd? Also, Dragon Roar is surprisingly bad together with War Master Voone (most of the time), as the Dragons included in the deck are already pretty much the premium Dragons you would want, and if you'd stuff your hand with even more random Dragons, chances are you'll copy those instead of the premium, really good ones, as your hand will always be quite filled. I've played with Dragon Roar a lot and mostly got either generic lategame Dragons like Malygos and Onyxia, which are not very helpfull in those matchups, or weird midrange Dragons like Hoarding Dragon or Carrion Drake. In those matchups, the 2 random Dragons will be quite useless most of the time. Welcome to my Rastakhan Control Warrior guide! This deck aims to beat Spellhunter and Aggro decks, while still having a good shot at beating Control due to having extreme Value potential and even outlasting Combo decks such as Kingsbane Rogue.įirst of all, let's get some questions out of the way which I already know are coming:ĭragon Roar is an excellent card, I'd include it anytime in a Control heavy meta or in any other Warrior deck just to get some cheap and easy value, however, currently most of the ladder seems to be Spellhunters, Aggro Rogues of various archetypes and classic Aggro decks like Odd Paladin and Zoo.
